Welly specialises in live "on the spot" caricatures for parties, weddings, corporate events and festivals. He can also create unique personalised gift caricatures from photographs in his studio for that special occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or retirements.

Welly has been caricaturing for a number of years now and is a proud member of the International Society of Caricature Artists. He learnt his trade from scratch using instructional books and DVD's plus the kind assistance of fellow ISCA members after deciding to direct his creative urges into this fantastically fun art form. After hours of practice on anyone brave enough to cross his path, he finally developed a cartoon style which is both flattering and humorous ensuring that everyone is entertained without being cruel. He has also worked at Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Welly is based at his home studio in Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire (near Blackpool), and can cover Lancashire and the surrounding area. He can travel further afield too; just give him a call to discuss your requirements. Ideally, you should book Welly for at least 2 hours for an event in order for him to draw as many guests as possible. He averages 12 black and white caricatures every hour drawn on quality A3 paper at an easel. These make ideal momementos for your guest to take away as a permanent reminder of the event!

Welly has full Public Liability Insurance and a copy of the certificate can be supplied upon request.
